Ingredients:
-Leftover guts from breakfast burritos: Here are the guts if you have not made them
-Hashbrowns
-Bacon
-Pork sausage
-Scrambled eggs
-Onions
-Bell peppers
*This is all cooked and mixed together*
-Your favorite crust recipe
-Flour
-Butter
-Milk or Kefir
-Plain Greek yogurt
-Shredded cheese of your choice
Seasonings;
-Rosemary
-Thyme
-Crushed Red Pepper
-Pepper
Directions:
If you have made our breakfast burritos and have leftover “guts” what better way to make an easy breakfast pizza. Begin by preheating your oven to 375℉. Prepare your pizza crust and set aside. I used a gravy base for my sauce. I generally add sausage but this is already included in the burrito mix. Begin by melting about 1-2 TBSP of butter in a pan on medium heat on the stovetop. Once butter is melted, sprinkle in flour until all butter is covered. This is making a rue to help thicken the sauce. This should become golden brown almost like a paste. Then add in your Kefir or milk. Slowly whisk this together. This should slowly start to thicken. I like to add a big spoonful of plain greek yogurt for extra tangy flavor and to help thicken. Slowly continue to whisk the contents. Once gravy has formed and come to desired thickness add in your seasonings. Mix until incorporated. Add prepared sausage gravy to the pizza crust. Then add the burrito “guts”, then add your choice of shredded cheese. Place pizza into the oven for 15-20 minutes. Cook until the crust is golden brown. Remove and allow to cool for a few minutes. Top with your favorite hot sauce, or any leftover gravy you may have. Enjoy!
