Breakfast burritosÂ
How to make breakfast burritos?!- Follow along below at my youtube channel!
Ingredients:
-Bacon
-Pork Sausage
-Hashbrowns
-Eggs
-Milk or KefirÂ
-Onion
-Bell peppers
-Minced garlicÂ
-Shredded cheese
-TortillaÂ
Optional:
-Plain Greek yogurt
-Hot sauce of choice
-SalsaÂ
Directions:
This can be done on a Blackstone grill top or works great in cast iron on the stove top. Cook bacon. This can be done on the blackstone. If you are using cast on the stove top this can be done in the cast, or this can be cooked in the oven at 400℉ for about 18-20 minutes. Once bacon is cooked, allow to cool and remove excess grease, cut up and set aside. Cook hashbrowns on blackstone with butter. I like to season them with minced onion, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and lemon pepper. Once they are nice and golden, remove and set aside. Then prepare pork sausage by browning until cooked through. I generally do not season this as it has a good flavor on its own. Prepare eggs, the amount needed it's based on the amount of people you’re serving. I do an egg per person plus one. Crack your eggs into a bowl, then add milk to help with fluffiness. I then like to add Creole seasoning to our eggs. Then scramble. Prepare onion and pepper mixture. Use butter or oil of choice, add minced garlic, then add the onion and peppers and saute until translucent, remove and set aside. Place more butter on blackstone and heat both sides of the tortilla. Now we are ready to mix everything together. Add hashbrowns, cut up bacon, ground pork sausage, scrambled eggs, onion and bell pepper mix all back onto the black stone. Mix until well incorporated. Prepare your toasted tortilla by placing plain Greek yogurt spread on the tortilla. Then add burrito “gut”, sprinkle with your favorite cheese. Now you can add some hot sauce for added spice or your favorite salsa. Roll up your burrito. From here you can dunk into more salsa and plain Greek yogurt if you want. Enjoy!
